Our Team

Different Backgrounds. Shared Humanity. One Big Belief in the Power of Play.

We're a collective of therapists, clinicians, performers, educators, and creative thinkers who believe the future of learning and healing needs more connection, embodiment, laughter, and humanity.

We take our work seriously. Ourselves? A little less so.

We bring together clinical knowledge, lived experience, improvisational theater, and experiential practices to create spaces where people can explore, experiment, and grow.

    Hope England

    Founder | Therapist | Comedian | Educator

Hope England is a psychotherapist, comedian, educator, and founder of the Therapeutic Improv Institute. Drawing from her experience in trauma therapy, somatic practices, improvisational theater, and community-centered healing, Hope brings together the worlds of psychology and performance to explore new possibilities for human connection.

Her work is rooted in a belief that healing can be clinically grounded, deeply meaningful, and genuinely playful. Through TII, she is helping reimagine how we learn, relate, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that come alive through play.

Our Partnerships

Collaboration is part of the practice.

We believe meaningful change happens through relationships, shared creativity, and collective effort. We welcome collaborations with mental health organizations, healthcare institutions, universities, community groups, nonprofits, and creative partners who share our commitment to more human-centered learning and care.

Together, we can build experiences that support connection, curiosity, and collective well-being.

A whole new way to heal.
