Our Framework
we believe that play is not a luxury—it's a lifeline.
Backed by neuroscience. Powered by joy. Rooted in liberation.
We're reimagining how learning and healing happen in the bodies of those who care for others—and in the lives of anyone seeking deeper connection with themselves and the world.
Transformation doesn't happen through insight alone. It happens through experience, movement, laughter, experimentation, and relationship. Sometimes the most profound breakthroughs happen when we stop trying to get it right and give ourselves permission to play.
Where Science Meets Spontaneity.
Rooted in nervous system science, trauma-informed care, depth psychology, and the healing power of laughter, our approach blends clinical rigor with creative rebellion.
We believe the body holds wisdom that words alone cannot always access. Through therapeutic improvisation, we create opportunities to practice presence, emotional flexibility, spontaneity, self-expression, and connection in real time.
We work from a wide spectrum of therapeutic and experiential models, including:
Somatic and trauma-informed practices
Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work
Polyvagal theory and neurobiology
Psychodynamic and relational frameworks
Expressive arts and embodied traditions
Anti-oppressive and liberation psychology
Depth psychology and Jungian approaches
Gestalt and psychodrama
We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to healing.
We believe in meeting the whole human.
Why improv?
Because Life Doesn't Come With a Script.
And neither does healing.
Improvisation is more than comedy or performance. It's an experiential practice that invites us to step into uncertainty, listen deeply, respond authentically, and discover new possibilities in relationship with ourselves and others.
Through improv, we practice the capacities that support psychological flexibility and connection: presence, curiosity, adaptability, vulnerability, and trust. We learn to make mistakes without shame. To tolerate the unknown. To loosen our grip on perfection. To be witnessed without needing to perform.
And perhaps most importantly, we discover that we don't have to earn our way into belonging.
It's not about becoming a better performer. It's about becoming more fully human.
Our Method Draws on Pioneering Research In:
⬤
Psychology
Play and experiential learning create opportunities to develop emotional flexibility, creativity, perspective-taking, and relational awareness.
⬤
Neurology + Polyvagal Theory
Our work draws on nervous system science and polyvagal-informed practices to explore regulation, co-regulation, and social connection.
⬤
Biology
Laughter, movement, and positive social interaction engage physiological processes associated with stress, emotion, and well-being.
⬤
Client + Patient Outcomes
Experiential learning can help professionals practice presence, empathy, attunement, and flexible responses that inform person-centered care.
⬤
Provider Wellness
The people holding space for others need spaces to reconnect with themselves, restore their energy, and experience joy, too.
Different Pathways. Shared Humanity.

Who we are
Clinically Grounded.
Creatively Unhinged.
Deeply Human.
We're a collective of therapists, clinicians, performers, educators, and healers on a mission to rehumanize mental health, healthcare, education, and the experience of being alive.
We bring together psychology, neuroscience, improvisational theater, and embodied practices to challenge conventional ideas about learning, healing, and connection. We know what it's like to spend our days holding space for others.
We also know that somewhere along the way, many of us lose touch with our own playfulness, creativity, bodies, and joy. We're here to change that.
Through transformative, experiential learning, we help people reconnect with their bodies, their instincts, their creativity—and one another. Because being human was never supposed to be a solo performance.
A whole new way to heal.
Less performing. More presence. More play. More possibility.
Healing doesn't have to happen only through words. Sometimes it begins with movement. With laughter. With connection. With the courage to try something new.
